Dear Sir,
In case a Retired Bank employee has been under Intensive care unit (ICU)for a longer duration due to critical illness, does Union bank of India or Insurance provider company will not pay amount after a point (Reaching a Target of 4 Lacs).
In my Opinion if a employee has given his whole life to a bank and presently if he suffering and more over his family is suffering due to high medical treatment cost. I think his employer should show some consideration.
This case is with my father he gave his whole life to bank and never took a leave until and unless if we force him to take due to health issues, in the end when we never get a support we forced him to take a Voluntary retirement. And presently he is suffering from a Multiple organ failure issue. And we and doctor are trying their best. But in the end the whole amount of money which he received in his retirement would be spend in his treatment cost.
Sorry, for being harsh but i think Union bank of India give some benefits to retired employee who gave their whole life to make his/ her bank proud of what it is.
Hope i will get a reply, and also hope the things that me any my family is going through no Retired employee faces that was the main moto of raising my voice in this reply.
Regards,
Salil Pant
