Further to our circular No. 2024/021 dated 8.3.2024 on the subject, we have to inform that the contents of the
circular stand modified that merger of DA will be applicable only to those who retired after 1.11.2022 and not
those who retired before 1.11.2022.

  1. The above position will change the whole complexation of ex-gratia amount which will be low and much
    below our expectation.

  2. Our earlier circular was based on the communication issued by one of the constituents of UFBU. Thereafter
    we sought clarifications from the concern authorities and constituents of UFBU, the above , we came to know
    about the correct position.

  3. We completely and strongly oppose the formula of ex-gratia given in the settlement. Office Bearers meeting
    will be convened shortly to discuss the issue and draw action plan on updation.

  4. we sincerely regret for this mistake. Detailed communication will be issued after office bearers meeting
