TIMES OF INDIA: Tiruchi Loganathan was one of the pioneers in the field of playback singing in Tamil cinema and made his debut as a playback singer in 1947. Though Loganathan did not sing for the rising stars like Sivaji Ganesan, MGR and Gemini Ganesan, he went on to record hundreds of songs in the 1950s, and is remembered for some of the evergreen hits he delivered.
